Bank of America

My contract at Bank of America involved redesigning of a multi-million dollar e-commerce site. I can't show finished screens and provide results stats due to NDA. The users need to be able to quickly and easily move through the ordering process, thus reducing the need to contact support. The site had to transition to responsive design and ensure ADA compliance. I solved these by in-depth evaluation of the business needs, identifying the primary, secondary and other personas. I reviewed help desk stats and transcripts, interviewed users and conducted usability tests. I redesigned the site with those insights in mind, emphasizing ease of use through intuitive navigation, clear hierarchy and plain language labeling. I created sketches, wireframes and mockups, explaining the design decisions and UX best practices to the stakeholders. The visual design emphasized consistency, contrast and use of white space while conforming to branding guidelines. The work was done in Agile environment.

Tools used: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Axure.
