Seamlessly Integrating New Web Sections

Adding a new section to a large corporate site with over 10,000 exising pages presents a special challenge. The new content has to be integrated with the existing so it adds value not clutter. Adding a new section ultimately requires a cross-functional team to come together. I advocate for the user, who is not seen at the meetings but ultimately the customers are the ones that determine whether the design succeeds. I present wireframes, flow charts and scenarios to help the team stay on track, see the new pages through a user’s point of view and put the user’s needs first.

Tools used: Adobe Creative Suite (CQ, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat),  Omniture, Axure, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, OmniGraffle.
